AN ORDINANCE VACATING AMBER PLACE AND BRITTANY PLACE (MEARL FRAZIER AND JERRY HALL)
WHEREAS, a petition has heretofore been filed by Mearl Frazier and Jerry Hall to vacate Amber Place and Brittany Place. Petitioners state that they are the owners of all property adjacent to said portions of right-of-way to be vacated, that said streets are not needed for use as such by the public, and that the property rights of others in the adjacent areas are not affected in the vacating of said portions of the streets further described as follows:
A part of the N1/2 of Lot 1 of the NW ¼ of Section 18, Township 24 North, Range 8 West described as follows:
All that part of Amber Place and Brittany Place street right-of-way as shown on Morrison Subdivision First Addition, Phase 2 as recorded in Plat Book G at pages 223 and 224 of the records of Howell County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 17, 2002 and notice of said hearing was published in the West Plains Quill on June 3, June 10, and June 12, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be appropriate to vacate Amber Place and Brittany Place.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST PLAINS, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the above-described streets are hereby vacated.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its date of passage and approval as provided by law.
