BILL 594 RESOLUTION________

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT FROM THE TONY HAWK FOUNDATION (ROBERT NEATHERY SKATEBOARD PARK)

WHEREAS, the City of West Plains, in Howell County, seeks to provide a variety of recreational experiences for its citizens, and

WHEREAS, the City of West Plains is currently building a skateboard park.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST PLAINS, as follows:

Section 1: That a grant award was made by the Tony Hawk Foundation for a $5,000 grant on the Robert F. Neathery Skateboard Park.

Section 2: The City of West Plains pledges to meet all requirements as outlined in the attached grant award letter.

Section 3: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept this grant award.

Section 4: That This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
