BILL NO. 602A RESOLUTION NO. __________

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WEST PLAINS AND CSC CREDIT SERVICES FOR NON-PAYMENT REPORTING SERVICES AND TRACKING REPORTS.

WHEREAS, when citizens do not pay utility and other bills due the City, there is a serious loss of revenue; and

WHEREAS, an aggressive collection program must include a way to post national reports on non-payment of accounts and a way of tracking past customers; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Plains, Missouri deems it wise and necessary to pass this Resolution authorizing an agreement with CSC Credit Services for non-payment reporting services and tracking reports.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST PLAINS, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That the City Council of the City of West Plains, Missouri does hereby authorize the agreement by and between the City of West Plains and CSC Credit Services a true copy of said agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof to be known as EXHIBIT A.

Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its days of passage and approval.
