BILL NO. 611 RESOLUTION ________
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION (CARY STEWART, CLYDE STEWART III – SOUTH OF 63 BYPASS, EAST OF MO. HIGHWAY 17)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST PLAINS, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That there has been presented to the City Council of the City of West Plains, Missouri, a verified petition signed by the Owner of all fee interests of record in all tracts of real property located within the area described in the petition, which area is proposed to be annexed to the City of West Plains, Missouri, and which petition requests annexation of such area into the City limits of the City of West Plains, Missouri as C-2 (General Commercial) a true copy of such petition is attached (EXHIBIT A) for property located south of Highway 63 ByPass and East of Missouri Highway 17.
Section 2: That no part of the said real property is now included in any incorporated municipality.
Section 3: That, in accordance with Section 71.012 RSMo, a public hearing shall be held concerning the matter and this Public Hearing shall be held July 22, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Public Library in West Plains, Missouri.
Section 4: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause a notice of such hearing to be published at least seven (7) days prior to the date of hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in Howell County, Missouri, which is qualified to publish legal matters.
Section 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
