NOTICE OF ADDITIONAL ELECTION FILING

Notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the City of West Plains, Missouri, Howell County, Missouri on Tuesday, April 8, 2002 for the purpose of electing the following in addition to a mayor and councilperson.

Thirteen – Commissioners to Frame a Charter

Candidates may file for such office during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday) starting from 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 24, 2002 and ending at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2002 in the office of the City Clerk, 1910 Holiday Lane, West Plains, Missouri. Names will be listed on the ballot in order of filing. Because of the holidays, please call 256-7176 to make sure the clerk will be there to accept your petition and statement of candidacy.

Notice of commissioner’s petitions and instructions for filing procedures are available immediately from the City Clerk.
