The City Council met for a special council meeting at 4:30 p.m. on January 18, 2002 at City Hall. Members present were Mayor Joe Paul Evans, Councilwoman Judy North, Councilman Jack Pahlmann, Councilman Louis Citro, and Councilman Bob Burtrum. Also present were City Clerk Shelton and City Administrator Fugate
Mayor Evans established a quorum and called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m
Bill 3751 to become Ordinance 3751. First and Second Reading. An Ordinance rescinding Ordinance 3750 passed on January 14, 2002 and enacting an Ordinance providing for the imposition of a transportation sales tax in the City of West Plains, Missouri for transportation purposes to include a five (5) year sunset provision. The motion was made by Councilman Burtrum and seconded by Councilman Pahlmann to approve first and second reading of Ordinance 3751.

Joyce Auto – 1991 ¾ Ton 5,500.
The motion was made by Councilwoman North and seconded by Councilman Pahlmann to accept the bid of Joyce Auto for $5,500. Motion passed unanimously.
