The City Council met for a special council meeting at 12:00 noon on May 31, 2002 at City Hall. Members present were Mayor Joe Paul Evans, Councilwoman Judy North, Councilman Jack Pahlmann, Councilman Louis Citro, and Councilman Bob Burtrum. Also present were City Administrator Royce Fugate, City Attorney Charles Cantrell, and City Clerk Connie Shelton.
Mayor Evans established a quorum and called the meeting to order at 12:00 noon.
II. READING
OF BILLS
A. Bill 610 to become Resolution 610. A Resolution authorizing the loan of Missouri Development Action Grant Funds previously received through the State Community Development Block Grant Program and the Economic Development Administration Grant Program to Hanford Nuclear Services, Inc. was read. Mayor Evans explained the project, the payout plan, and the patent used for collateral. City Attorney Charles Cantrell reported that a lien on the patent would be filed in Washington, D.C. The motion was made by Councilman Pahlmann and seconded by Councilman Citro that Bill 610 become Resolution 610. Motion passed unanimously.
III. COUNCIL
ACTION
A. Permission to Destroy Records
The motion was made by Councilwoman North and seconded by Councilman Burtrum to authorize records to be destroyed as listed (copy attached). Motion passed unanimously.
The motion was made by Councilman Citro and seconded by Councilman Burtrum to go into closed session for litigation discussion.
