MINUTES
WEST PLAINS CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Special Council Meeting
June 11, 2001

The City Council met for a special council meeting at 4:15 on June 11, 2001. Members present were Mayor Joe Paul Evans, Councilman Jack Pahlmann, Councilwoman Judy North, and Councilman Bob Burtrum. Councilman Lou Citro was present by conference call. Also present were City Administrator Fugate and City Clerk Shelton.

I. PRELIMINARIES

Mayor Evans established a quorum and called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

II. READING OF BILLS

A. Bill 569 to become Resolution 569. A Resolution authorizing the loan of Missouri Development Action Grant Funds previously received through the State Community Development Block Grant Program and the Economic Development Administration Grant Program to Hanford Nuclear Services, Inc. was read. Willis Mushrush presented information regarding their project (copy attached). The motion was made by Councilman Burtrum and seconded by Councilman Citro that Bill 569 is now Resolution 569 contingent on security documentation being provided. Yea: Mayor Evans, Councilman Citro, Councilman Pahlmann, Councilman Burtrum. Abstain: Councilwoman North. Motion passed.

III. COUNCIL ACTION

A. Bid – Replacement of A/C unit at Public Safety Complex.

Current Inc. - Total: $2,161.00
Russell’s Heating Service - Total: $2,077.00

The motion was made by Councilman Burtrum and seconded by Councilman Pahlmann to accept the bid of Russell’s Heating Service for $2,077.00. Motion passed unanimously.

IV. ADJOURN

The motion was made by Councilman Pahlmann and seconded by Councilwoman North to adjourn. Motion passed unanimously.
